Cantine

Looking for a delicious meal with the perfect ambiance? Cantine in al Liwan might be your new go-to spot.

The restaurant is surprisingly spacious – perfect for catching up with friends without feeling crowded. We were immediately impressed by the clean, minimalist design – everything from the menu to the tables felt minimal and modern.

We decided to try a variety of dishes, and everything was a hit. The chicken pesto sandwich was simple but delicious. The bread was fresh and soft, the pesto had a mild flavor that wasn’t overpowering, and the chicken was perfectly cooked.

The summer rolls were a refreshing starter, especially on a hot day. They were the perfect post-work pick-me-up – light, refreshing snack. The rice paper wrappers held a mix of crunchy veggies and sweet mango, all tied together with the most delicious peanut sauce.

For drinks, we opted for a classic cafe latte and a orange hot chocolate. The hot chocolate surprised us – it wasn’t heavy or milky, but light and flavorful with a hint of orange. It was the perfect drink. The latte was a good strong average coffee.

The falafel bowl rounded out the meal perfectly. The falafel itself was soft and flavorful, and it went well with the creamy hummus, fluffy rice and sweet potatoes.

Overall, Cantine impressed us with its delicious food, minimal atmosphere, and friendly service. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu – especially that amazing peanut sauce and orange hot chocolate!
