We were recently invited to Latea Bahrain, situated in Seef Mall.
Latea take their teas very seriously and have built a strong name for
themselves, not just in perfect teas but also bubble tea, juices and desserts.
Latea originally started from UAE in 2019 from small group of people with a
strong desire to have good quality bubble tea that they were accustomed to
outside of the UAE, specifically from the Far East.
Going one step further back, bubble tea first originated from Taiwan and then
over time had a global awareness and popularity.
The bubble tea culture swept through the world and has been filtered down
along the way.
Latea have tried to stay as close to the original concept of bubble tea as much
as possible and pride themselves on the best selection of fresh teas and
highly skilled baristas.
Latea’s approach to bubble tea is unique to Bahrain and probably the whole
region. Latea brew real loose tea leaves to make the tea, use only fresh milk
no creamer and no addition of any artificial powders.
Latea’s ‘quality first’ approach to selecting more natural and higher quality
ingredients is what makes them stand out.
We got to try a selection of their bubble teas as well as refreshing juices and
desserts.
Definitely a place to visit if you want authentic and delicious boba tea.
