Kuo Yings? Yes please!
The Social Team were out and about recently and decided to Chinese cuisine and after a quick vote, headed to Kuo Yings, situated in Hamala Hills.
Opening in August 2021, Kuo Yings has quicky established itself as authentic Chinese cuisine experience as well as becoming an iconic spot to hang out with family and friends.
The restaurant has an instantly welcoming atmosphere. The interior impeccably recreates Chinese culture. Staff are friendly and overall service is incredible.
The open kitchen lets you view your meal as it is being freshly prepared. Their menu was astounding with huge variety of dishes to choose from, which made it hard to decide on what to try.
Finally, we ordered some of their bestsellers, the fried dumplings, spring rolls, steamed wantons, chicken cashew nut, kung pao chicken, fried rice and chow mein.
The appetizers just blew our minds, specifically the spring rolls; they are to die for! The dumplings vanished as soon as they hit the table.
Presentation of the dishes was spot on and picture perfect.
Kung pao chicken was flavorful, The chicken cashew nut and Chow mein was absolutely delicious, and the fried rice was our favorite among all the dishes we ordered that day.
The authentic Chinese flavors in each bite. The portions were generous and was filling too.
Overall, the experience was delightful and we definitely would visit again.
