Ramenara

We might be late for the bus, but we only just found out about Bahrain’s best Ramen restaurant.

Located in the hub of Seef, Ramenara is reservations only with the option of delivery. The whole reservation thing can be off putting, but the process of booking was extremely smooth and efficient, so much so that it wasn’t even an issue.

Opened last year, Ramenara is a visual and gastronomical delight. With an extensive menu ranging form Ramen (obviously), pickles, chicken wings, steak frites, tacos, poke bowls and a decent selection of desserts.

As soon as you enter the restaurant, it’s apparent how much thought and effort was put into each aspect of the restaurant; from the deco to the staff uniforms and to the food itself.

We ordered the smashed cucumbers which were amazing, covered in sesame, chilli and a soy vinagerette, which we kept going back to a palate refresher.
Next were the chicken wings, with a sticky and spicy glaze, they didn’t last long and were gone as soon as the plate was put down. We tried the beef brisket taco which was well presented and flavourful. Last up was the OG pulled chicken ramen, the portion was huge and delicious, you have been warned. We were too full for dessert, so that will have to be for our next visit.

All in all we left feeling like we had visited our favourite aunty, happy and full. We’ll definitely be going again and highly recommend a visit. Let us know if you’ve tried Ramenara.
