Welcome back Chilis

We finally made it to the new Chilis in Seef. Full of nostalgia and worry if the menu had changed was keeping us up at night.
So we finally decided to check out if the new Chilis still had our favourite items from back in the day.

The restaurant is in a new location, under new management and thankfully it still has the same vibe as the old place, but much more brighter and vibrant. The staff are friendly and welcoming but we’re here for something more important, the food.

We’re happy to report back that the Nachos (oh my goodness those Nachos) are as delicious as ever, with a slight modification
of no black beans and the underside of the nachos having been dusted with a layer of paprika, which gives it a welcome kick in each bite.

The Enchilada soup is still a firm favourite with the same option of cup or bowl, a perfect starter or main.

If memory serves us correctly, the onion rings are a new edition (correct us if we’re wrong) but we’re so glad they are on the menu. A generous bowl of big juicy cuts of onions in a crispy batter.

Lastly, we sighed a huge sigh of relief to find the Chocolate Molten Cake is still available, but not just in the regular size, but a new smaller portion for those who do not want to share (it’s us, we don’t want to share).

Reasonably priced, the menu is thankfully as amazing, if not better than what we remembered.
Great to have you back Chilis, we were lost without you.
